What are some other weird differences in the way different cultures pronounce things?
I LOVE to read about these differences! My sister lives in the US so I'm quite familiar with the American English. Having grown up in South Africa, we were taught British English, but watch American TV/ Movies so we have quite a blended English!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with your pronunciation of Pantene - if they want to call it Panten then leave out the last -e! We use the British for oregano, fillet and zebra and American for Adidas :-)
