Word of the Week

Suspenderbraces


Definition: An accessory connected to ones trousers and going up over ones shoulders, generally made of an elasticated material
Used in a sentence:  I used to work as a waitress at Copeland's of New Orleans and I can tell you for a fact that big boobs and suspenderbraces are an awkward combo.

  4. This is why I wore a vest when I worked at TGIFridays. Boobs and suspenders do NOT mix.

  5. I find this endlessly confusing because these words have other meanings in each country too:

    UK says braces and US thinks orthodontia. US says suspenders and UK thinks garter belts. This can make for some very confusing—and at times unexpectedly racy—conversations.
